Joker Reanimation - VFX Course Project, Seneca Polytechnic, 2024
As part of my VFX coursework, I selected the official Joker: Folie à Deux poster and transformed it into an animated, looped visual experience. The original was a static image, and given the difficulty of sourcing high-res elements, I meticulously extracted characters and layered visual components to create a fluid and immersive atmosphere.
Breathe life into a still image. Transform a haunting moment into a cinematic loop—light, smoke, and movement reframe the story.
Even a single frame holds infinite potential when paired with creativity and visual storytelling techniques.
To practice advanced After Effects techniques including puppet tool animation, light and smoke simulation, and kinetic typography while telling a mood-driven micro-story.
