  • Passion project / A-dora Rehabilitation Center (unofficial support)
Created at Miami Ad School in 2012

  • This short film offers a quiet, respectful exploration of Alzheimer's, told through intimate observation. Inspired by my best friend's grandmother, the project took shape over one and a half months of immersive visits to a local rehabilitation center. I connected with residents, recorded their daily lives, and edited the footage to express what words couldn’t.

  • Alzheimer’s may take away memory, but it cannot erase presence. Through silence, gaze, and gesture, these individuals still tell powerful stories—if we only choose to listen.

  • Rather than aiming to diagnose or define, the project invites the viewer to see. To slow down. To notice the world within these individuals—their emotions, rhythms, and humanity.

    • Capturing expression when words are lost

    • Conveying emotion without narration or interviews

    • Editing through hours of footage while honoring each person’s dignity

    • Developed deep empathy and observational storytelling skills

    • Directed and produced all aspects: filming, interviewing, editing

    • Created an emotional piece that continues to spark conversation about Alzheimer's and aging
