METIS Holding – Istanbul, Turkey (2011)
Concept Ad Agency
Junior Art Director (Intern)
While interning at Concept, one of Istanbul’s leading advertising agencies, I was tasked with creating the full corporate identity for METIS Holding. The logo was built entirely from scratch to reflect the company’s robust presence across the construction, tourism, and energy sectors. The central form—a bold, stylized “M”—evokes strength and flow, signaling both structure and adaptability. The modular identity system allowed seamless visual extensions across METIS sub-brands, ensuring cohesion while celebrating each branch’s distinct function.
Building a legacy of strength and resilience.
This was a rare opportunity for a junior designer to lead a full identity project for a major holding group. The result was a timeless, flexible design that still visually reinforces METIS’s authority and modernity across diverse industries.
To establish a clean, future-focused identity system that could unify METIS’s multiple business arms while remaining elegant and easily adaptable across platforms and signage.
I developed this corporate identity from the ground up with no pre-existing visuals or brief beyond the brand name and sector focus. Despite my junior status, I successfully delivered a cohesive visual language for one of Turkey’s top holdings—balancing structure, fluidity, and adaptability across applications.
