  • MagneGlow – A wellness-forward brand offering magnesium mineral spa salts designed to transform backyard pools into luxurious, therapeutic sanctuaries.

  • Freelance Art Director & Brand Designer

I led the creative direction and visual identity for MagneGlow, from packaging and logo design to brand storytelling and lifestyle positioning. My role was to translate the product’s natural benefits into a visual language that felt both elevated and emotionally resonant.

  • MagneGlow is more than a pool product—it’s a wellness ritual. The brand’s magnesium-rich formula offers real therapeutic benefits: muscle relaxation, stress relief, and skin nourishment. But its original packaging didn’t reflect that promise. It felt clinical, low-budget, and disconnected from the lifestyle it aspired to serve.

My goal was to reimagine MagneGlow as a premium wellness brand, rooted in nature and inspired by the laid-back luxury of Australian living. The creative direction drew from the feeling of touching the surface of a pool—how the ripples radiate outward, soft and luminous. That moment became the soul of the brand.

The logo itself was designed to embody this concept: the curves and spikes of the “M” and “G” form a subtle sunburst, symbolizing both the glow of magnesium and the warmth of sunlight. It’s a visual metaphor for radiance, healing, and the organic energy that flows from water, minerals, and light.

This wasn’t just a redesign—it was a repositioning. MagneGlow now lives at the intersection of science and serenity, offering spa-like benefits in a form that feels personal, luxurious, and emotionally resonant.

  • “Luxury spa benefits—right in your backyard.” The new identity invites users to experience wellness not as a destination, but as a daily ritual at home.

  • Design can elevate perception. By aligning MagneGlow’s visual identity with its therapeutic value, we repositioned it from a generic pool additive to a lifestyle wellness essential. The brand now speaks to both the science of magnesium and the serenity of self-care.

  • To create a brand that feels organic, luxurious, and emotionally engaging—one that resonates with wellness-focused homeowners, parents, and skin-conscious consumers. The goal was to build trust, spark desire, and stand out in a market dominated by sterile, chemical-heavy competitors.

  • Pain Points

    • The brand’s visual identity didn’t reflect the quality or lifestyle aspirations of its product

    • Industry examples, including those with logos and packaging, lacked cohesion, warmth, and emotional appeal. So, I needed to create a vision that stands out in stores, such as Home Depot or high-end luxury retailers.

    • Due to early challenges, such as slow and non-committal communication, which made it difficult to build momentum, and a lack of collaboration, the vision I created as the first stage of growing the brand will, unfortunately, not take shape as the future brand.

    Achievements

    • Developed a logo inspired by water ripple diagrams, with the “M” and “G” glowing from the center, symbolizing both magnesium and radiance

    • Introduced a teal and coral palette to evoke freshness, calm, and vitality

    • Designed packaging that feels spa-like, modern, and nurturing, with soft textures and organic patterns

    • Created a visual system that fits seamlessly into the Byron Bay aesthetic—earthy, aspirational, and effortlessly chic

    • Positioned MagneGlow to appeal to both eco-conscious families and luxury wellness seekers

    • Crafted imagery and layouts that highlight skin benefits, not just pool function—making the product feel personal and transformative

    • I’m fully comfortable with the final result—it reflects the brand’s essence and my creative integrity
