  • DVM Winery - France, Izmir

  • DVM Winery logo & Wine Label Series of Côtes de Feu

  • Commissioned by DVM Winery, this branding project was rooted in the powerful symbolism of Kula’s volcanic terrain in Turkey. I was tasked with designing the entire visual identity and wine label concept for their launch collection, Côtes de Feu—meaning "Coasts of Fire." My goal was to capture the winery’s unique terroir and blend it with a romantic, French-inspired visual narrative that honored both the land and its legacy.

  • The centerpiece of the identity is a hand-drawn logo: a wine glass subtly integrated into the silhouette of a volcano—conveying the transformation of nature into culture, soil into wine. It visually merges DVM’s initials with the volcanic cone, tying product, geography, and brand together in one stroke.

Each bottle features a stylized historical female portrait wearing rose-colored attire, symbolizing grace, strength, and the wine’s elegance. The volcano skyline and gold seal atop the label nod to artisanal craft and origin pride. I also explored complementary elements like capsule patterns and color-coded varietal marks, ensuring brand cohesion across the lineup.

This was a deeply collaborative, research-driven project that translated a geographical feature into a distinct emotional brand language.

  • “Crafted from Fire, Rooted in Elegance”
DVM’s identity and the Côtes de Feu collection reflect the vineyard’s volcanic origins and hand-crafted production—uniting origin, emotion, and story in one iconic design.

  • This project successfully positioned a new Turkish winery within a premium market through thoughtful symbolism, cultural storytelling, and refined design execution.

  • To create a memorable, location-driven wine identity that honors the land’s volcanic power while appealing to an international, design-conscious audience. French influences were woven into strengthen global resonance.

  • Challenges: Balancing elegance with rustic volcanic energy; limited client visuals; visualizing a fictional wine brand under real constraints.

Successes: Delivered a bold, original logo; unified multiple sub-labels under one visual family; concept adopted across print, web, and packaging.
